I am honoured to be part of the annual Cancer Society Ball Auction again this year. It is such an important cause and this event raises both awareness and money to help those affected by cancer.
'Blood Candy' has been sitting in my studio waiting for an opportunity to be shown and I think this is a perfect event for her.

Blood Candy is part of a larger body of work that explores the many iterations of being a woman. She is all powerful yet naive in this, she is both gazed upon and gaze's out. She wears her current label but this will change as she moves through life where new ones will be assigned and discarded both by others/ society and herself.
